Refund Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Refund Policy explains when amounts credited to your wallet or paid toward orders on the SN Capital Platform may be refunded or reversed, and typical timelines. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and product-specific terms shown at checkout or in your contract note / confirmation.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- Wallet top-ups and unused balances (where withdrawal is permitted);
- Cancellations or failed settlements before completion;
- Duplicate or erroneous charges attributable to SN Capital or its payment partners (subject to verification).
It does not override statutory rights available to you under consumer protection laws in India.
2. General principles
2.1 Securities transactions — Once a trade is confirmed and settlement has progressed in line with agreed terms, amounts typically cannot be “refunded” like an e-commerce product; exits occur through sale, transfer, or issuer events, subject to market availability and law.
2.2 Fees — Platform, brokerage, or processing fees already earned for services rendered are generally non-refundable unless we determine a billing error or duplicate charge.
2.3 Verification — Refunds may require identity verification, bank account matching, and fraud checks.
3. Wallet top-ups
3.1 If you request withdrawal of unused wallet balance where permitted, we will process to your registered bank account after deductions (if any) disclosed on the Platform.
3.2 Timelines — Typically T+5 to T+10 business days from approved request, depending on bank and payment rail holidays; delays may occur for compliance holds.
3.3 Failed credits — If a top-up debits your bank but does not credit the wallet, we will investigate with the payment partner and rectify or refund after confirmation.
4. Order cancellations
4.1 Before confirmation — If an order is cancelled before binding confirmation and no third-party reliance has occurred, any blocked amount may be released to your wallet or source per the flow shown in the app.
4.2 After confirmation — Cancellations may not be possible, or may be subject to counterparty consent, market conditions, and fees. Partial refunds, if any, will follow the specific product terms.
5. Chargebacks & disputes
5.1 Unauthorised or fraudulent transactions should be reported immediately to us and your bank. We will cooperate within legal limits.
5.2 Chargebacks initiated with your bank may result in account suspension pending investigation.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are generally sent to the original payment method or your verified bank account. NEFT/IMPS timelines depend on banking networks.
7. Non-refundable items (illustrative)
- Fees for completed KYC, onboarding, or advisory where service was delivered;
- Government charges, stamp duty, or taxes remitted on your behalf (unless law requires refund);
- Amounts lost due to market movement or issuer default (these are investment risks, not refundable “purchase” amounts).
8. Grievance
If you disagree with a refund decision, escalate via the grievance channel on the Platform. You may also approach consumer forums or regulators as applicable.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Align this Policy with your actual wallet, payment gateway, and securities workflows under legal review.
